A well-tailored solution for the Kindle. This is my 2nd jacket, which I got after my Kindle cover resulted in damage to the hinges of my Kindle (see the reviews for the Amazon Kindle cover). I like the way the Kindle slips into place in the cover, held by simple elastic tabs. The leather is of good quality and, most important, the Kindle is well protected. Plenty of room at the top to hang a standard book light on as well. The red is nice because it is more visible when left lying around the house. Purchased at a local big box for around $40. It went together quickly, but fell apart the moment I put DVDs on the shelf. I don't mean the self fell down, I mean the entire thing collapsed. The screws stripped out of the holes that hold the top on, the sides fell over and the screws ripped through the bottom of the sides, you get the idea. My husband had been looking for a replacement case for Kindle for a good year. I secretly had been too, hoping I'd surprise him for Christmas. Case is subtle and refined in style. Leather is soft, not cheap or plastic looking. Case is cushy and Kindle is well protected while giving access to all buttons. Inside lining is very nice as well. We tested to see how secure the e-book would be when opened by dangling upside down and found it stayed put. I bought this book during my pregnancy thinking it will help us with the much dreaded sleep problem later. Now that my baby is almost 3 months, I would say save your money and don't buy this book. The main problem is that it tells you not to nurse the baby to sleep. Every single mother I talked to nurse their baby to sleep. Sometimes it's the only thing that works.
