I received the Sony Reader as a Christmas present and love it! I tried using a traditional book light with the reader, but it just didn't work well. Kept trying to adjust the direction of the light, but to no avail. The Custom Light Shield illuminates the entire page perfectly. It's a pleasure to lie on the sofa, dim the room lights, and still see the entire page clearly. The Sony Reader and the Custom Light Shield make for a perfect combination.
