I was hoping to compensate for the lack of a backlight on my PRS-505 Sony Reader. Unfortunately, this product fails miserably and was a big disappointment. It obfuscates the reader's text because one side is textured to disburse the light from the weak LED lights embedded in the spine of the apparatus. You are much better off holding a flashlight in your teeth. The only good things I can say about the item is that the build quality, as far as materials, is good. That's the only thing that kept me from giving it one star. Don't buy one of these.
