I've had this 10key for a least 5 years, and it still works as new. I'm a CPA, and use the keypad all the time, and use it a lot. It takes a pounding and hasn't had any problems. I'm on my third laptop since I bought this item. The laptops have died, but this 10key keeps on going. I've tried other brands, and cheaper products in the past, but they wore out quickly.
