I like skins. I have a Kindle 1 and a Kindle 2. My mother is using the original Kindle and I put a skin on it since the side buttons were worn smooth in some places because I read so much. The skin made the original Kindle look brand new. Had this product been available when I bought the original Kindle, it would have prevented the wear (though the wear is purely cosmetic and not very noticeable) I put a skin on my Kindle 2 right out of the box.
